The despicable white supremacist event “Unite the Right” in Charlottesville, Virginia, has the nation in an uproar after things turned violent and one innocent person was left dead. Across the country, intense discussions about race have dominated the media landscape and flooded Twitter and Facebook as people try to heal and understand this weekend's violent events. Things were no different on CNN. Host Chris Cuomo welcomed contributor Symone Sanders and former Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli to discuss the white nationalist march and President Donald Trump's response. Things got off the rail almost instantly. Cuccinelli insisted that the statue of Robert E. Lee was an excuse to bring various racist groups together but kept getting interrupted by Sanders. He finally snapped: “Can I finish, Symone? Can you just shut up for a moment?” Screenshot/CNN Never one to back down, she shot back furiously: “You don’t get to tell me to shut up on national television. I’m sorry, under no circumstances do you get to speak to me in that matter. You should exhibit some decorum.” Cuomo, who suddenly had to play referee for what looked like was about to be a boxing match, scolded Cuccinelli: “Ken, you don’t want to use language like that when you’re talking to Symone. ‎President Muhammadu Buhari has resumed at his office in the presidential villa, Abuja. The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed had explained that Buhari needed time to rest and would  “now operate from home. ” However, Buhari, who had not appeared at any public function for a while now resumed at his office on Tuesday. A Lagos activist lawyer, Ebun-olu Adegboruwa, has called on the Senate to declare the office of the President vacant because some cabals have taken over the affairs of the nation. Adegboruwa gave the call while reacting to the continued decline of President Muhammadu Buhari’s public appearance. In a statement he sent to DAILY POST, the activist lawyer said the Upper Legislative Chamber should constitute a medical panel that will ascertain if Buhari should continue as President or not.
